crossover?

korralized:

So I talked to this artist about her crossover art because I’m a total nerd and fell in love with it at first sight. AND APPLEZ GETTING HER AU ON JUST MOTIVATED ME and I would really, really love to make this a thing. Like, with an actual cast for this crossover AU shindig, and folks who will come up with more brilliant ideas and just make it fabulous.

It doesn’t matter if we’ve never RPed before, OCs are just as welcome as canons, and I haven’t really thought about logistics (although I can say with certainty I don’t think we’d need entirely new blogs for this!), but this is just to see if there’s any interest. Any at all. Heck, we could probably even work in multiples of the same character if we go crazy with a Geminio spell or something.

THE POINT IS: I WANT YOU TO WANT TO RP THIS WITH ME 8’D so does anyone? Signal boosts would also be appreciated, thank you!!

Oh and here are some quick facts that she had come up with, but everything is free for collaboration and fine-tuning as we get going:

  • Korra’s in Slytherin, with Tahno
  • Katara’s Headmaster
  • Tenzin’s head of Ravenclaw
  • Lin’s head of Gryffindor
  • Tarrlok’s head of Slytherin
  • Toza’s head of Hufflepuff
  • Amon & Equalists = Voldemort & Death Eaters … kinda

Bringing this back because aside from Dara and my other self, WE NEED PLAYERS. Seriously. This could be awesome.

I promise I’m not too much of a nerd? Actually, I really am. I’m sorry. Q_Q

Hard day’s night

Mako was an observant man.

He took in the finer details with relative ease, pinning them in the back of his mind for future usage if he needed it. It was a survival tactic that he himself had honed to perfection and even now when he didn’t need to fight to survive he still took pride that he hadn’t lost such a skill. For it proved useful even in day to day situations.

So he did noticed the way her eyes went from defiant ferocity to something akin to regret and that’s when his own penetrating gaze faltered. He hadn’t meant for it to, he had been intent on keeping up his scowl for however long he deemed necessary to get the point across. But then his mind supplied him with a logical thought. He had gotten it across.

He mentally sighed, all bitterness fading fast. She had said the wrong thing, oh yes had she said the wrong thing but he had to remind himself that she wasn’t exactly used to talking with filters. Well…neither was he but he knew when to keep his mouth shut. He was slowly beginning to realize that with all her time stuck in the compound that she had undoubtedly missed that lesson in etiquette. He almost snorted. Why did he think she knew much about etiquette in the first place?

Still, it made him ease up some on her. She now knew what topic was off limits in their arguments, and that was good enough for him.

He sighed audibly this time around.

“Korra, that’s…you can’t just…go and face Amon.” He lowered his eyebrows, mental images flashing through his mind. Of Zolt, of Bolin, of Amon.

“Do you even know what you’re up against?” He searched her face, searched it for some kind of clue to what she was thinking because honestly? He didn’t think she was.

“He can take bending away for spirits sake! He almost took Bolins” He was a little exasperated now, running a hand through his hair in some manner of self-soothing. “You can’t be serious, here!”

He might use the older brother ploy against Bolin, but it was not going to work on her. She didn’t need him babying her. She didn’t want him babying her.

She was not a fan of ‘could not’ or ‘should not’ in life. Any time those words were thrown out there they were a gauntlet to a challenge, something she could overcome, something she could prove wrong. Like she’d done to him in the ring already, like she’d done to Tenzin by using airbending movements to win. She was a natural, remember?

A natural at taking charge and barging in.

“Yes,” she said, “I can.” For that matter, “And yes, I do. I was there, Mako. I saw what you saw.” She felt what he felt, she heard what he’d heard. Maybe even moreso; she was the Avatar, bending at its finest, embodied and just flesh and blood and meat to the predators who were obviously eyeing those like them as prey.

She tilted her chin, resolve in the set of her jaw and that flash in her eyes, as well as the fist she clenched before it met the butt of her opposite hand. “I also know he’s just one man and if I can take him out, no one else needs to get hurt. Tarrlok wants to take the whole thing down, but if I could just face Amon head-on, we wouldn’t even need that.

And the people she loved wouldn’t be in danger anymore.

“You’re not gonna stop me,” she told him, but there was just a hint of something, of something underneath, that said she was expecting him to try. And she wagered that when Mako ‘tried’ anything, he didn’t stop until he’d succeeded. They weren’t so different after all.

With those hands falling slack, she added, “I just figured I’d tell you.” So he wouldn’t wonder why she wasn’t at practice, so he’d know she was thinking about him and his brother even if she wasn’t there with them. So he wouldn’t doubt that she was doing what she could to make sure Bolin’s nightmares went away for good. A wave of a hand and those steps kicking off quicker precipitated the end-all, “I’ll see you later.”
