I’m in a mood, so y’all will have to bear with me as I heap some love on some of the people who don’t get it very much from me and deserve all of it and then some. These are folks who, for their own reasons, have just made this blog that much better an experience for me—but this is by no means a comprehensive list!! I would list every single follower if I could, believe you me.
Can I just say she is my inspiration when it comes to inclusiveness and willingness to play with anyone? She jumped the gap from HiNaBN to LOK back when I was still an itty bitty blog with less than a hundred followers. I remember my jaw dropping when she told me she had 700, and that she still took time to play with me! And to this day, all of my followers later and 300 more added to her arsenal, she still replies to me and plays with me on a whim and it’s lovely. There is not a better example of what “I’ll play with anyone” really means on tumblr than she, I’m convinced.
I can’t remember which of us contacted the other first for roleplay, but I do remember how much he felt his writing was lacking—to the point he almost quit. I tried to convince him then he was doing an excellent job and I am so, so glad I succeeded (however small in part)! He’s the Bolin to my Korra, there’s really no two ways about it. A Borra shipper after my own heart, and he’s just one of the sweetest people out of character that you’ll ever find on tumblr. He’s no small part in why I’m still here today.
WHY DIDN’T YOU TALK TO ME SOONER?? Seriously, that about sums up my feelings for this girl. Really, I had no idea she was admiring me from afar, and it was only when she followed my Katara blog that I got to really “meet” her—and finally play with her through her Mako blog. When she first posted for me, I think I about fell over in amazement of her writing and roleplaying ability. And her style is just such a joy to read. My Makorra tank was running a little empty and she helped fill it back up in a flash, not to mention, makes me feel so loved and appreciated here in my corner of the RP world. Thank you, darling.
What do I even say about Gems? She followed me once upon a time and I was absolutely shell-shocked because I’d always see her 1k note gifs and beautiful graphics and everything and sdkgljhsdklgjhdg fangirled, I will admit it. Then it turns out she’s a total girl after my own heart, and might I say (WITH LOVE) one of the brassiest people I know. It’s awesome, because I definitely need her words of wisdom in my life now and then. She tells it like it is, she’s always saying what I’m thinking. Oh, and when in doubt, she’s good for random Makorra feels texts. Her name is Gems Catbender in my phone, that should be a good indication of just how much I adore her.
I’m pretty sure she’s like my number one fan. Sometimes when you’re an RP blog, it’s hard to know if people even pay attention to what you post outside of the usual fanservice, but I know she does. And that means the world to me, more than I could ever express. We don’t talk much, and I honestly wish I wasn’t so socially inept that we did more, but I know she’s a true follower forever and she’s very dear to my heart for all the support and love she’s poured out on me over the months. <3
